And to make it even worse, barely anyone mentioned Silkworm in the comments! I would definitely add Slow Burn, that song is just epic, but I guess a more popular Silkworm choice would be Don't Make Plans This Friday or Couldn't You Wait. (Both are amazing songs.) If you haven't listened to Silkworm, you should definitely check them out. My favorite album is L'arje, but I don't think too many people agree with me on that one. Overall the list was alright, I have seen better. I like that you included an early Soundgarden track. Way too many people don't give them a chance because of Black Hole Sun, which is too bad. This is your opinion though, so I am sure to you it was an excellent list. If I had made this list it would probably just be filled with Silkworm and Superchunk. So you did better than I would have. I think it should have been Condor Ave. from Elliott Smith or Needle in the Hay as opposed to Between the Bars, but to each his own! What about Quasi, another Portland group. Animal Collective are another who had great songs from the early 00's that would have been appropriate as well. Again, solid list and I look forward to downloading quite a bit from it!
