Since I got a negative comment for the Black Keys “Your Touch” video, I decided to create the first of its kind “Best of 2006″ category. I think it’s a nice warm up for HearYa’s upcoming Best Albums of 2006 list.
The winner of this category must demonstrate outstanding songwriting and musicianship, while producing a low-budget piece of crap video that could potentially ruin the song for the listener/viewer. Bonus points for including white trash, a milk dripping mustache, dead pigeons, and a wrestling match with E.T.
Without further a do, here is the first ever award for “Best Song With the Worst Video of 2006.”
The Winner: Bonnie “Prince” Billy – Cursed Sleep.
