He is immensely talented as evident by the first Libertines disc but since then his other two discs, the second Libertines disc and The Babyshambles disc have been tremendously uneven. Mostly crap with a few great songs that poke their way thru the quagmire of crack-addled shit. Then you look at Carl Barat's new band Dirty Pretty Things and their new disc which is great and wonder what couldv'e been if he wasn't so f-ed.
